Beautiful and unique 1940s novelty Chinese ginger jar print dress. Made of cotton, the pattern is of different styles of lidded ginger jars in red, white, and blue with hints of gold on a beige background. Cowl neck with short sleeves, two front chest pockets, nipped at the waist, a-line pleated skirt with button front. The back is a low open back with metal zipper and a side metal zipper, the dress is unlined, and original belt (that shows some wear on the buckle). The dress is in wonderful vintage condition, no flaws to note, hand washed and ready to wear.
