Classic and fun 1950s Catalina blue nylon and white floral embroidery swim dress. Made of blue nylon with white floral embroidery accented bust. Adjustable straps that can be adjusted by buttons (front and back), can be worn halter, crossed, straight, or strapless. Collared bust, gathered bodice, a-line silhouette with a-line short skirt. The dress has a smocked back, side metal zipper and unlined. The garment is a hybrid dress and swimsuit, there is no bottom under the dress but it is designed to be worn as a swim dress. Label: Catalina, A California Creator, Styled for the Stars of Hollywood. Circa early 1950s. In beautiful vintage condition, elastic is still stretchy, one small pull in the nylon, some wear to the enamel white accents down the front. No stains or large flaws to note, hand washed and ready to wear.
