1970-1980's black silk taffeta prairie style blouse and skirt set by the famous designer Charles Jourdan, a versatile and unique garment for any wardrobe. 1975 a ready-to-wear clothing and handbags were added to the Jourdan line, although the company has remained best known for its shoes. This garment was designed by the french designer Muriel Grateau for Charles Jourdan, made in France of high quality inky black silk taffeta. The blouse is a simple silhouette, crewneck, long cuffed sleeves, button front and straight silhouette. The skirt is a classic prairie style, fitted at the waist and above the hips to a full ruffle hem skirt, side button and nylon zipper. A true romantic, minimalist, gothic flare designer piece, one of a kind, that can be worn in so many ways. In beautiful vintage condition, there is one small repair at the collar (shown in last photo, unseen when worn), otherwise no flaws to note, dry clean only, ready to wear. *any flaws are considered in the price.
